These Terms & Conditions apply to all driving tuition services offered by Driving Lessons Cambridge Driving School.
By booking and attending lessons, you agree to the following terms.

1. Definitions

* School refers to Driving Lessons Cambridge Driving School.
* Instructor refers to the self-employed driving instructor assigned to the student.
* Student means the individual receiving driving tuition.
* Regulations refers to The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
* DVSA means the Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency.

2. Driving Instructors

* All instructors are registered with the DVSA and operate on a self-employed basis.
* Driving Lessons Cambridge Driving School acts as a booking and payment service.
* The agreement for driving tuition is directly between the student and the instructor.

3. Bookings & Cancellations

* Lesson bookings are subject to instructor availability and confirmation.
* A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Failure to do so may result in the full lesson fee being charged.
* Instructors may cancel or rearrange lessons due to illness, vehicle problems, severe weather, or other unsafe conditions.

4. Lesson Structure

* Standard lessons are typically 2 hours in duration unless otherwise agreed.
* Pickup and drop-off locations and times are arranged directly between the student and the instructor.

5. Payments

* Lesson payments must be made in advance.
* Payment methods may include bank transfer, cash, or online payment, depending on the instructor’s preference.

6. Student Responsibilities

* Students must hold a valid UK provisional or full driving licence.
* Students are responsible for bringing their licence to lessons if requested and wearing any required corrective lenses.
* Students must not attend lessons while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that may impair driving ability.

7. Vehicle Use

* Instructor vehicles used for lessons are roadworthy, maintained to a high standard, and fully insured for driving tuition.
* Use of a student’s own vehicle is at the instructor’s discretion and requires proof of valid insurance for tuition purposes.

8. Driving Tests

* Students should consult with their instructor to ensure they are test-ready before booking a practical driving test.
* Use of the instructor’s vehicle for the driving test must be agreed in advance.
* DVSA test fees do not include the instructor’s time or the use of the instructor’s vehicle.

9. Termination of Lessons

* The instructor reserves the right to stop providing tuition if there is repeated non-attendance, unsafe behaviour, or lack of cooperation.
* Students may stop lessons at any time by giving notice. Any remaining prepaid lesson balance may be refunded where applicable.

10. Liability

* Instructors are responsible only for loss or damage that is reasonably foreseeable and caused by their negligence.
* Driving Lessons Cambridge Driving School is not liable for the conduct of individual instructors or the progress of students.
